🎄 The True Spirit of Christmas: Two Acts of Giving at East Ridge Village Village!
Christmas at East Ridge Village is a season of warmth, reflection, and coming together — a time when kindness, generosity, and community take center stage. This year, our residents beautifully embodied the true spirit of Christmas through two meaningful acts of giving, both on and off our campus.
We are incredibly proud of our resident Jean, president of the Cutler Ridge Women’s Club, for coordinating a generous donation drive benefiting Camillus House. With the help of caring community partners, a wonderful collection of toys and stuffed animals, canned and dry food items, and personal care essentials such as soaps and moisturizers was gathered and donated — offering comfort, dignity, and hope to individuals and families in need throughout the Miami area.

The spirit of giving continued beyond our campus as residents Jim and his wife, Freddi, volunteered their time at Saint Andrew’s Food Pantry, lending a helping hand to support neighbors facing food insecurity. Their willingness to serve together is a touching reminder that Christmas is not only about celebration, but about compassion, service, and caring for others. Check out the TikTok video below

Moments like these capture what Christmas is truly about — neighbors helping neighbors, time given freely, and kindness shared without expectation. We are proud of the compassion our residents show each day and grateful to celebrate a season that reminds us how much good can be done when we come together.
