LifeCare is a special type of contract available at Life Plan Communities (also called Continuing Care Retirement Communities). It ensures that, as an independent living resident, you’ll have guaranteed access to higher levels of care—such as assisted living, memory support, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation—right here on our campus.
The best part? Your monthly fees remain stable and predictable, even if your health needs increase.
Important to Know:
-LifeCare is regulated by the Office of Insurance Regulation (OIR) and the Agency of Health Care Administration (AHCA) in the State of Florida.
-East Ridge Village offers a Type A LifeCare contract—the most comprehensive plan.
-LifeCare is offered only at the beginning of the continuum—when you join Independent Living.
How LifeCare Works
One-time Entrance Fee
Residents pay a one-time entrance fee when they join the community. This secures your place and helps cover future health care costs. Many plans offer refund options for your estate.
Monthly Service Fee
